Christmas Paper Characters by Diana Beltran Herrera
Published Dec 22, 2023
As the holiday season approaches, we’re all in the mood for a little Christmas magic. And what could be more magical than these adorable Christmas characters crafted entirely out of paper by UK-based artist Diana Beltran Herrera?
Diana is a Colombian artist based in the UK who is renowned for her intricate and vibrant paper sculptures. Her work often highlights the beauty and fragility of nature, with a particular focus on wildlife. Yet, late last year during the festive season, Diana turned her attention to Christmas characters, crafting delightful festive figures that bring an extra touch of magic to the holiday season. The project is still a work in progress, as she explains:
“I took inspiration from the Nutcracker illustrations by Maurice Sendak and proposed a few elements. I still need to complete the set up but here it is some progress for now.”
If you enjoyed these paper characters, be sure to check out Diana’s website for even more amazing papercraft creations.
