American engineer and self-taught photographer Matthew Malkiewicz captures the beauty of old steam locomotives and their huge clouds of smoke in his ongoing series entitled “Lost Tracks of Time”.
“These galleries celebrate my travels and experiences across our countryside. Some near home, others far and remote; all so very memorable.
Often it’s the journey and not the destination – the people met along the way and the stories they share. Or a moment that takes you back to a better, vanished time.”
