Lake Lugano House by JM Architecture
Published Aug 29, 2011
Awesome see-through house designed by Jacopo Mascheroni from JM Architecture.
“…this stunning house is located on a hill overlooking Lake Lugano in Switzerland. The steep hill was carved with a reinforced concrete structure in order to accommodate the house, which consists of a glass pavillion with rounded edges with a total surface area of 3,700 sqf distributed on two levels. The living area is on the ground floor and revolves around a center white volume that contains the kitchen and stairway, while the bedrooms, bathroom and garage are located at the lower level. The residence also features a geothermal pump, a rainwater collection system, a roof garden and radiant heating, making it a sustainable home.”
