In Love: Animated Short Film by Super Dope
Published Feb 22, 2023
Super Dope is a Portland-based studio specializing in high-end motion design. Their latest video, ‘In Love’, is a short film that delves into the emotional roller coaster of taking the leap and letting yourself fall in love.
Created from a female perspective, ‘In Love’ offers a fun insight into how contrasting feelings like excitement and fear can clash when it comes to giving ourselves over to connection. The film explores this journey through a beautifully crafted animation, encouraging us all to take charge of our own relationships.
“We want to spread the message that taking charge of your life is ok, even important, and not let anxiety or insecurity hold you back from living life fully. It’s about the search for love in today’s world and how sometimes, as ladies, we have to shoot our shot.”
— Christine Kim, Super Dope Co-Founder, ECD
‘In Love’ encourages its viewers to be brave enough to reach out for what they desire most in life, without forgetting themselves along the way.
