I Gut You: A Sleek & Smart Fermentation Companion by NOS Design

Mexican studio NOS Design brings tech and tradition together with “I Gut You,” a sleek smart container designed to make home fermentation easier, and a lot more precise.

Shaped like a minimalist glass flask with a soft, angled lid, the device is built for brewing everything from kombucha and kefir to fruit-based ferments. The magic lives in the lid: an integrated sensor that continuously tracks pH and temperature, two key variables that define whether your batch is thriving or headed off-course. The probe sits diagonally inside the container, allowing it to take accurate readings even when there’s only a small amount of liquid left.

Readings sync to a companion app via Bluetooth, where users can monitor fermentation in real time, get alerts when their drink is at its peak, and keep an eye on shelf life as it evolves. The app also doubles as a fermentation journal, offering recipe tracking, reminders, ingredient logs, and even the option to share creations or source new ingredients.
