Published Nov 8, 2024
KaNO Kid, aka Danny Kimanyen, is a New York-born multidisciplinary artist who brings a street art aesthetic into everything he does.
His work covers various creative areas, including animation, illustration, painting, mural work and design. His creations always incorporate the raw energy of street culture, with an instantly recognizable style that’s become his trademark.
For several years, he has worked as a character designer for big studios like Warner Bros and Cartoon Network, and contributed to popular shows like MTV’s Daria and Cartoon Network’s Ben 10. Beyond the screen, his large-scale murals can be spotted in cities from Tokyo to Miami, as well as galleries across the globe, including group shows at the Corey Helford Gallery in LA and curated showcases in Brooklyn. He has also collaborated with high-end toy brands like Medicom, Kidrobot and Sideshow to produce unique collectible figures.
