Germany 101 Exhibition Catalogue
Beautiful design work by The International Office, a design studio based in New Zealand.
“The Germany 101 exhibition was brought to Wellington by the Goethe-Institut and consisted of 26 giant letterforms (from A to Z) each with a specific meaning regarding German culture in some way. The original name for the exhibition was Deutschland für Anfänger (Germany for beginners).
We liked the idea of referencing, in a minor way, the archetypal ‘learning your ABCs’ children’s book by using large letters and basic colors – this became the basis of the work.”
