Fun Product Design Explorations by Peter Tarka
Published May 28, 2025
London-based art director and 3D artist Peter Tarka has crafted a new set of personal works, exploring the world of product design with a playful twist. Known for his clean compositions and bold use of color, Peter uses this series as a creative exercise, reimagining iconic products and dreaming up his own ideas, all brought to life with Cinema 4D and rendered in Octane.
The series includes vibrant takes on classics like the Leica camera, La Marzocco coffee machine and the Game Boy Color, each given a stylized and colorful makeover. There’s a clear attention to form and material here, but the overall mood stays light and experimental, more about visual exploration than strict realism.
While the project started as a way to sharpen his product design and rendering skills, it also highlights Peter’s instinct for visual storytelling. Even as static renders, each object feels like it belongs in a playful alternate universe, one where curiosity is just as important as functionality.
