Inspiration Without the Noise: Is Savee the New Pinterest?

Published Sep 8, 2025

Lately, we’ve been playing around with a platform called Savee, and it might just be the calmest corner of the internet for anyone who collects visual inspiration. No ads, no algorithms, no comment threads – just stunning images, beautifully presented.

As soon as you create an account and jump in, you’re presented with a beautifully curated feed, no onboarding friction, and most importantly, no disruptive clutter. It’s a refreshing first impression that feels more like opening a carefully designed gallery than a traditional social platform.

As you continue exploring, Savee keeps things ultra minimal. When you click on an image, it takes over the screen with zero distractions. There’s nothing but the image – no captions, no author or usernames, no clutter.

If you want to dive deeper, you can click on the small profile images at the top to see everyone who shared that particular image (including who first saved it), and there’s also a small “i” icon that gives you more info like the image source, color palette, and AI-generated tags. But most of the time, you’re just scrolling through a clean, uninterrupted feed of visuals – and that’s exactly the point.

You can fine-tune the layout to your liking by adjusting image sizes and spacing, and the streamlined search makes it easy to find what you’re looking for, allowing you to search by keyword, color, or even by uploading an image to find similar styles.

Boards help you organize your finds, and there’s a team feature for collaborative moodboarding. There are browser extensions for quick saving too, but they’re kind of hidden in the UI and could definitely use a bit more visibility.

There are a few limitations though. After using Savee for a few weeks, one thing we’ve noticed is that discoverability is still a bit of a question mark. We haven’t had any new followers yet, and it’s unclear how or if others find your profile. Still, there’s something refreshing about a platform that doesn’t care about metrics. Savee isn’t trying to be the next viral content machine. It’s just a clean, quiet space to gather what inspires you.

And like all the finer things in life, this ad-free experience does come at a cost. The free plan only gives you 150 saves, which is great for getting a feel for the platform, but it’s a bit tight if you’re someone who’s constantly collecting imagery or building mood boards. Paid plans start at just $3.99/month (billed annually), but we’d actually recommend the Premium tier at $8.25/month. It unlocks unlimited saves and boards, private and collaborative board options, access to their Figma plugin, and a handful of other benefits. You can check out all the options here.

We’re definitely planning to keep exploring it, and if you’ve been looking for a more focused alternative to Pinterest, Savee is definitely worth checking out.
