New Ford Mad Max Interceptor Concepts
Published Jul 18, 2011
To help celebrate the revival of Mad Max (the 4th movie is currently in pre-production), Ford Australia created these two spectacular new Mad Max Interceptors in partnership with Top Gear Australia magazine. The team lead by Design Director Chris Svensson, worked after hours to develop a modern take on the famous Ford XB coupe Interceptor from the original movie.
“Our entire team was very excited to be involved in this after-hours project and they approached it with a great deal of enthusiasm – even those that were too young to remember the first Mad Max movie.”
The concepts created by Nima Nourian and Simon Brook have been chosen by Top Gear Australia as the two top designs and now a public vote will decide which vehicle is produced.
