Food Type: Typographic Creations by Gabriel Pang

Published Sep 16, 2024

Brazilian designer Gabriel Pang has combined typography and gastronomy to create this fun series called “Food Type,” where the familiar shapes of letters intertwine with the textures and forms of our favorite foods.

Currently based in São Paulo, Brazil, Gabriel is the creative force behind Pang Brands, a local design studio that focuses on distinctive branding and lettering projects.

His self-initiated “Food Type” project explores how letters can morph into deliciously familiar forms such as strawberries, watermelons, bacon, eggs and cheese.
