Floral Photography by James Thornbrook

Published Oct 25, 2012

James Thornbrook is an English photographer who spent most of his childhood surrounded by water, woodland and wild flowers. This strong connection with nature shines through his signature flower photography.

“I’m often asked how I create my flower portraits. I think the secret to successfully creating any floral photograph is not in the tools or technology used, but in knowing how to see, express and create. Modern cameras can help us to get a ‘good’ shot, but it takes time and dedication to be able to master your own photographic vision. I strive to create unique flower portraits that are soulful and individualistic. Every flower portrait is a new discovery for me. I believe I was born to photograph flowers.”
