Fenton Wall: Light Installation by Digital Ambiance
Published May 22, 2024
“Fenton Wall” is another impressive interactive installation by San Francisco-based studio Digital Ambiance. Commissioned in early 2022 by Hines Development and renowned artist Ansen Seale, this project transformed a pedestrian underpass into a vibrant, immersive sensory experience.
The clients approached Digital Ambiance with a unique challenge: to create an engaging feature for a new mixed-use development in North Carolina. The vision was to design an interactive wave of light that would flow through a pedestrian underpass, not only enhancing the aesthetic appeal of the liminal space but also providing a captivating and dynamic sensory experience for anyone passing through.
