Genki Grips Promise a More Flexible Way to Play on the Switch 2

Genki has just launched a Kickstarter for Genki Grips, a new modular grip system for the Nintendo Switch 2 designed to give handheld players more comfort and flexibility without locking them into a single grip style.

The setup starts with a shell for Switch 2 itself, with the option of a single solid piece or a split-style shell that lets you detach the Joy-Cons while you play.

From there, you can swap out different grip modules depending on what feels most comfortable or what’s better suited to the type of game you’re playing.

Backing the campaign with a pledge of $99 gets you the full set, including both shells, six grip options, and a protective snap-on case, so you can test everything out and find your favorite setup.

The whole package looks like something that would be fun to mess around with, especially for longer sessions or fine-tuning how the Switch 2 feels in the hands.
