Published Apr 17, 2023
In 2001, Michael Schumacher and Ferrari dominated Formula One. The red prancing horse was driven by a German icon, and the engineering behind it was second to none.
Photographer Andrew Trahan recently captured some beautiful images of this iconic car in his project “F1 2001”. The photos show off the sleek design of the Ferrari F2001, as well as its raw power.
The Ferrari F2001 was an incredibly successful car, winning nine out of seventeen races that season. It was powered by a 3-liter V10 engine and featured a semi-automatic transmission for lightning quick shifts. The car also had an innovative aerodynamic design which allowed it to corner faster than any other car on the track.
Michael Schumacher’s fourth title-winning season is remembered fondly by many Formula One fans. His performance in the Ferrari F2001 was nothing short of legendary and will be remembered for years to come. Thanks to Andrew Trahan’s project “F1 2001”, we can now see this iconic car in all its glory.
