Emotion, Form & Fluidity: Delicate Illustrations by Sveta Parfenyuk
Published Jun 12, 2025
Sveta Parfenyuk is an illustrator and graphic designer from Moldova whose work explores inner emotion through a fluid, dreamlike aesthetic. With a background in architecture from the Pridnestrovian State University, her creative roots trace back to childhood, when she first fell in love with traditional drawing techniques. It wasn’t until quarantine, though, that she fully embraced digital illustration, a turning point that allowed her distinctive style to take shape.
A recurring theme in Sveta’s work is emotional resonance. Often drawing from personal experience, she uses illustration as a means of processing and expressing both individual and collective feelings. Her Balance series is a striking example, featuring delicate, interconnected faces suspended in a composition that feels both tender and quietly unsettling.
