OneXPlayer Unveils Two New Handhelds: The OneXPlayer 3 and X2 Mini Pro

OneXPlayer has announced two new 3-in-1 gaming handhelds simultaneously, one Intel-powered, one AMD-powered, both launching on Indiegogo in mid-to-late June 2026.

The OneXPlayer 3 and OneXPlayer X2 Mini Pro share a flexible 3-in-1 design philosophy, allowing users to shift between handheld, tablet and laptop-style setups. Both devices also feature detachable controllers and large 8.8-inch OLED displays, but they take different approaches under the hood.

OneXPlayer 3

The OneXPlayer 3 is powered by the Intel Arc G3 Extreme GPU. It’s designed to handle AAA gaming, on-device AI workloads and productivity tasks.

• Display: 8.8-inch native landscape OLED, 144Hz with VRR and HDR support.
• Battery: 85Wh.
• Connectivity: USB4, USB-A, mini SSD expansion, MicroSD card slot, and a 3.5mm audio jack.
• Controls: Hall Effect joysticks, customizable rear buttons, and the OneXConsole control centre for adjusting performance profiles and button mapping.

The crowdfunding campaign for the OneXPlayer 3 goes live on Indiegogo in mid-to-late June 2026.

OneXPlayer X2 Mini Pro

Where the OneXPlayer 3 goes Intel, the X2 Mini Pro goes AMD, with a more aggressive performance setup. The AMD Ryzen AI Max+ 395 brings a 16-core Zen 5 CPU, AMD Radeon 8060S (RDNA 3.5) graphics, and a 50 TOPS XDNA 2 NPU to the table, combining for up to 126 TOPS of AI performance. It also includes optional external liquid cooling and a swappable battery system.

• Display: The same 8.8-inch native landscape OLED panel, running at 144Hz with VRR (30–144Hz range) and HDR support.
• Battery: External 85Wh swappable battery system, meaning you can carry a spare and hot-swap for extended sessions.
• Controls: Redesigned detachable controllers with Hall Effect joysticks, adjustable triggers, customisable rear buttons, and interchangeable D-pad options. RGB lighting and performance settings are all managed through the OneXConsole app. The controller unit itself weighs just 99g and has a 1,100mAh built-in battery rated for up to 12 hours of standalone use.
• Frost Bay Cooling: The X2 Mini Pro can be paired with the OneXPlayer Frost Bay, an external liquid cooling system that can push the device up to 120W of sustained performance output.

The X2 Mini Pro’s Indiegogo campaign is also targeting mid-June.

With these two announcements, OneXPlayer is covering both major PC chip ecosystems at once. The OneXPlayer 3 takes the Intel route, while the X2 Mini Pro goes all-in on AMD, but both devices share the same broader idea: an 8.8-inch OLED handheld with detachable controls and a 3-in-1 form factor that can replace multiple devices instead of just adding another to the pile.

Pricing hasn’t been confirmed yet, but both campaigns will launch on Indiegogo in mid-to-late June 2026.
