If you’re keen to add a nostalgic transparent look to your ASUS ROG Ally, JSAUX has got you covered.

The ROG Ally is a nicely designed piece of tech, and if you’ve seen any teardown videos or opened up the handheld yourself to install a new SSD, you would know that even its insides are beautifully constructed.

Banking on the success of its transparent shells for the Steam Deck, JSAUX recently announced this cool-looking RGB backplate for the ROG Ally, alongside a few other interesting accessories.

The JSAUX transparent backplate ($39.99) features five RGB lighting patterns and swappable stickers that allow you to display different designs on the back of the Ally, like a loading bar or Playstation button icons. In addition to that, the package also includes 4 transparent slides, which you can customize with your own sticker designs.

In order to power these flashy lights, the backplate packs a 170mAh battery which can be charged via USB-C. JSAUX tells us that it has enough power to provide nonstop RGB lighting for up to 3 hours on a single charge.

Alongside the transparent RGB shell, JSAUX also announced a new ModCase for the ROG Ally, which is available in two bundle options.

The Basic Set, priced at $29.99, includes a protective case with a kickstand, a front cover designed to ensure the Ally’s analog sticks and screen don’t get damaged during travel, and two detachable straps that can be used to attach power banks and other handy accessories to the back of the device. The travel cover also has room for a few microSD cards on the inside.

If you’re looking to extend your gaming sessions and don’t have a portable battery yet, the Power Bank Kit might be the better option. For $79.99, you will also get a 65W 20000mAh power bank in addition to all the accessories mentioned above.

As soon as we can test out these new products ourselves, we’ll give you the lowdown on what we think. If you’re interested in more ROG Ally content, you can read our thoughts on other JSAUX products here, and discover our favorite accessories for the gaming handheld right here.
