First Look: Analogue Pocket Transparent Red Limited Edition

Published Oct 20, 2023

Having missed out on the previous pre-order window for the Analogue Pocket Glow in the Dark Edition, we were thrilled to get our hands on one of the newly released transparent versions.

This time around, we managed to secure the Transparent Red version of the handheld, which is a delightful addition to the Pocket series. The bright red color has a bit of a yellow tint to it, and stands out as one of the most eye-catching options in this collection, which also includes clear, smoke, blue, orange, green and purple.

The new version features the same high quality build and stylish design we’ve come to expect from Analogue, and it’s awesome to be able to see the Pocket’s internal components through the transparent shell.

This week, Analogue has also given us a glimpse of the upcoming Analogue 3D, their unique reinterpretation of the legendary Nintendo 64, reengineered in FPGA with modern features including 4K resolution and wireless Bluetooth and 2.4g connection, in addition to 4 original-style controller ports. It also includes custom display modes, featuring reference quality recreations of specific CRT TVs and PVM monitors.

The Analogue 3D is slated for release in 2024 and we’ll share more details on the console when they become available. For now keep scrolling for more images of the Analogue Pocket Transparent Red Limited Edition.
