Analogue Unveils Yet Another Pocket Limited Edition, Now in Classic Game Boy Colors
Published Nov 17, 2023
In the wake of the extraordinary success of its glow-in-the-dark version and the recent translucent models, Analogue is set to release another limited edition run of the much-loved Analogue Pocket.
This time, the company is launching the device in a range of classic Game Boy colors that were “carefully color-matched” to match the original.
The lineup looks absolutely incredible, making it hard to pick just one out of the bunch. The Analogue Pocket Classic Limited Edition will be available in a rainbow of colors including red, green, blue, yellow, pink, orange, indigo and even a metallic silver version.
These gorgeous new models will go on sale this Friday, November 17th at 11am ET on Analogue’s website, shipping a few days later on the 20th. As usual, the units are expected to sell out in minutes, just like the previous limited editions.
Analogue’s strategy of releasing limited edition versions of the Pocket has proven extremely successful, but also caused disappointment for many customers who were unable to secure a unit due to the high volume of scalpers purchasing the popular handheld for resale on platforms like eBay at significantly inflated prices.
If you’re one of those who missed out on previous limited editions of the Analogue Pocket, or have been waiting for a classic Game Boy color version, check out the full collection below and make sure to mark your calendar for this Friday’s release.
