Daniel San Branding & Signage by The Bar Brand People
Published Oct 1, 2018
Sydney-based design studio The Bar Brand People produced the new brand identity and signage work for Daniel San, a bar and restaurant located in Manly, Australia.
“Formerly described as the location Mr. Miyagi, Layne Beachley and Flume would meet up for a chow-down, Daniel San is a one of kind experience on Manly’s beachfront.
The Daniel San concept captures the fun and slightly quirky elements of Japanese culture infused with a rock ‘n’ roll vibe. The brandmark finds the contrast between a sharp rock band logotype and the fun, almost three-dimensional ‘bubbly’ aesthetic found in Japanese culture. All graphic elements in venue reflect the ‘Daniel San’ character, creating both an adventurous social and culinary experience.”
