Cute Crochet Characters by Akbar Erabiyan
Published Mar 20, 2023
Akbar Erabiyan is a talented Iranian digital artist who creates adorable crochet figures using advanced 3D modelling and textures. He uses his expertise in 3D software such as ZBrush, Maya and Houdini to create detailed models that look just like real crochet dolls.
One of Akbar’s most impressive recent creations was inspired by the popular video game and now acclaimed HBO series “The Last of Us.” Using his character design experience and digital artistry techniques, he was able to replicate the main characters Joel and Ellie, as well as a couple of “clickers” with incredible accuracy.
In addition to recreating famous characters in 3D , Akbar also loves designing his own original figures to showcase his creativity.
