Creepy Disney: Art Toys by Coté Escrivá
Published Nov 1, 2024
Coté Escrivá is a Spanish artist who creates fun character designs inspired by childhood nostalgia. His ongoing collaboration with Thunder Mates has resulted in a series of limited-edition resin toys over the years.
One collection that really caught our attention is the one featuring classic Disney characters with a dark twist. Creepy Duck, Creepy Mouse and Creepy G are Coté’s unique takes on Donald Duck, Mickey Mouse and Goofy. His creations are spooky versions of these iconic characters, depicted with eerie eyes, tattered clothes and even exposed skeletons.
Coté’s entire portfolio is a joy to explore, packed with influences from American pop culture, urban art and the cartoons that shaped our imagination. If you want to see more of his work, be sure to visit his website or follow him on Instagram.
