French designer Alexis Taïeb, aka Tyrsa, began his creative journey as a teenage graffiti artist on the streets of Paris.
“As his obsession with lettering and typography evolved he was offered a place at Gobelins School (Paris) to study what he calls the love of his life. Since graduating in 2007 Alexis has amassed an enviable client list including campaigns for Nike, Moët & Chandon, Sony and Carhartt. His portfolio shows a profound understanding of how lettering can be both functional and beautiful at the same time.
Describing his work Alexis explains that he’s always striving to attain one goal: to reinvent the letter, but never lose its meaning or its beauty.”
