Colorful Liquids in Motion by Thomas Blanchard
Published Feb 26, 2024
“Chopin – Nocturne op.9 No.2 Colorful Liquids in Motion” is another mesmerizing audiovisual experiment by French artist and director Thomas Blanchard.
Thomas made the conscious decision to create this dreamlike video without relying on CGI, instead opting for a more organic approach using liquid substances. The result is a vivid spectacle, featuring a lively ensemble of colorful paint blobs gracefully dancing across a stage composed of oil and soap liquid.
Set against the soothing backdrop of Chopin’s “Nocturne Op., 9 No. 2,” viewers are treated to an oddly calming experience, as the swirling blobs of color glide, sparkle and burst in hypnotic, glittering scenes.
