Berlin-based artist and illustrator Ekaterina Koroleva creates striking portraits that combine expressive faces, delicate botanical elements and fluid washes of color. With a background in graphic design, she blends pencil sketches, watercolor and ink to develop compositions that balance bold shapes with the unpredictable textures of traditional media.

Women are at the heart of Ekaterina’s work. Their faces emerge through overlapping leaves, flower petals and abstract elements, often framed by vibrant blocks of color.
