UK-based illustrator Dale Edwin Murray is back with an ongoing personal series of illustrated sports icons, distilling some of the world’s most recognizable athletes into bold graphic compositions. Using sharp lines and bright color blocks, he brings to life legendary figures like Pelé, Maradona and Zidane.
The series showcases athletes from football, tennis, basketball and boxing, playing with exaggerated shapes and angular forms to capture their energy and physicality.
