Bob’s Bar Menu Design by Violaine & Jeremy

Bob’s Bar is a cocktail bar located at The Brando, a world-class resort in Tetiaroa, French Polynesia. The recent menu redesign for the venue, crafted by French studio Violaine & Jeremy, has transformed it into a visual masterpiece that pays tribute to its most famous patron, legendary Hollywood actor Marlon Brando.

Marlon Brando made frequent visits to the island of Tetiaroa. Long before The Brando resort came to life, the actor would frequent atoll, ending each day with a visit to the bar and his dear friend Bob. It was during these twilight hours that Bob would concoct special cocktails, tailored to Brando’s discerning tastes.

Drawing from meticulous historical research, Violaine & Jeremy conceived the menu as Marlon’s travel diary, curating an exquisite narrative that unfolds through its pages. Each entry is dotted with anecdotes and stories from Brando’s escapades on the island, enriching the dining experience with a sense of intimate connection to the past.

In order to produce a truly unique menu, the studio opted for a handmade approach, with all elements meticulously crafted by hand, including the leather cover, medals, photos and postage stamps. Only 30 copies were produced, making them rare treasures in their own right.
