Beautiful Art Deco Illustrations by Anta Alek
Published Jun 23, 2023
Berlin-based vector artist Anta Alek creates stunning Art Deco-inspired illustrations that capture the retro aesthetic of vintage posters. Her delicate and intricate designs draw on classic illustration sensibilities, evoking a sense of nostalgia and familiarity.
Her impressive client list includes big names such as Baileys, Philips, Panasonic, Toyota, Coca-Cola, Singapore Airlines and Playboy, to name a few.
Anta’s illustrations are heavily influenced by the iconic art deco style, which originated in France during the 1920s and 30s. The movement was characterized by its bold geometric shapes and bright colors, as well as its use of modern materials such as chrome and glass. Anta has taken these elements and used them to create her own unique style that pays homage to this classic era while still being distinctly her own.
