“Aviscapes” is an amazing photography project by Jan Wegener where he captures birds in their natural habitats, set against beautifully softened and blurred backgrounds.
Born in Germany and now residing in Melbourne, Australia, Jan developed a profound interest in birds from a young age, with a particular fascination for parrots. In 2017, he made the bold decision to leave behind his successful career in real estate photography to fully dedicate his skills to his true passion. This leap of faith marked the beginning of an exciting journey that he has never once regretted.
Jan’s avian portraits typically feature vibrant birds resting on beautiful perches, but his portfolio also includes detailed close-ups and dynamic action shots of these magnificent creatures.
