Stills Launches a Figma Plugin That Keeps Image Licensing Inside the Creative Workflow
Published May 17, 2026
Photo licensing platform Stills has launched a new Figma plugin, giving designers a more direct way to search, test and organize licensed imagery without leaving their working files.

The plugin brings Stills’ curated library of images from established and emerging photographers directly into Figma. Designers can search for photos, insert them into layouts, explore related imagery and tags, and save selections to Boards synced with their Stills workspace. It also keeps track of image history and shows which images are already in use on a given page, making it easier for teams to manage visual references across a project.

For creative teams, this means less context-switching. Instead of moving between licensing platforms, browser tabs and design files, the plugin lets users test imagery in context while they are building. Depending on workspace permissions, teams can access watermarked or clean images, add selections to cart and prepare licensing choices for checkout on Stills.com.
The free Stills Figma Plugin is available now through the Figma Community. Users can sign in with their Stills workspace to start using it.
