French photographer Maxime Daviron captured these breathtaking images of the Pyrenees mountain range in Europe.
“In Greek Mythology, Æther personifies the sky in its upper parts, where the air is the purest. It is the one that is breathed by the gods. Centuries later, no temple dedicated to his worship has yet been discovered. But what temples could we imagine to evoke such a symbol, if not those constituted by the high peaks, bathed in the clarity of the lights that can only be found at these altitudes.”
