2020 Socked: Fun Packaging Design by Kreatives
Published May 1, 2024
“2020 Socked” is a fun project by Munich-based design studio Kreatives that showcases the power of creativity to uplift spirits, even during challenging times.
Back in 2020, the pandemic turned our lives upside down and brought about a seismic shift in how we work, with the home office becoming the new norm for many. It was that scenario that sparked the idea for an internal project aimed at bringing a smile to the faces of the studio’s own team members, as well as their clients.
The project is a collection of colorful and playful socks, but the coolest thing about it is the ingenious packaging design that houses them. Kreatives designed the boxes to look like shoes and sneakers, complete with shoelaces that needed to be untied to reveal the socks nestled inside, adding a fun element to the unboxing experience.
