1960 Plymouth XNR Concept Car by Virgil Exner Sr.

Published Aug 2, 2012

The 1960 Plymouth XNR is an interesting retro-futuristic looking concept car designed by Virgil Exner Sr. in the 1960s to showcase the “progressive design sensibilities of Plymouth automotive”.

“The 1960 Plymouth XNR concept car was built on a modified Valiant chassis as an answer to the vast popularity of Corvettes at the close of the 1950s.”

“Now, the Plymouth XNR Concept is heading to the auction block in Monterey, California after a masterful restoration in 2011. This strange stunner will be seeking a new owner that desires a one-of-a-kind relic of eccentric 1960s design.”
