Whimsical 3D Creature-Letters by Idea & Maker

New York-based studio Idea & Maker, led by Czech artist Johana Kroft and her collaborator Maxim Kroft, has created this series of vibrant 3D characters designed around the letters of the alphabet.

Each figure is assembled from glossy tubes, soft spheres, fuzzy surfaces, flat graphic shapes and playful cartoon eyes. The collection treats thoughts and ideas as physical forms, with every character representing a different stream of feeling, impulse or creative energy.

The series was originally personalized and minted on the blockchain, with each Mind designed as a unique persona. The figures sit somewhere between toy design, surreal portraiture and motion-graphics styling, turning the messy interior life of creative people into a bright, oddball cast of companions.
