VincDesign Creates a Compass-Inspired Packaging System for KNOCKBO°X

Hong Kong and Taiwan-based studio VincDesign created this refined coffee capsule packaging for KNOCKBO°X, translating the brand’s explorer mindset into a sleek, tactile object.

The box features a precisely cut, needle-shaped window that references the brand’s compass icon while revealing interchangeable, color-coded origin cards beneath. In an effort to move away from disposable packaging, drinkers are encouraged to keep the outer casing and swap the cards as they move between coffees, creating a small but meaningful ritual as they recalibrate their own flavor compass.

Typography, directional markers, and fine-line illustrations reinforce ideas of travel and provenance across the range, while the modular layout makes it easy to introduce seasonal releases without reworking the core system. Material choices add another layer of intent, pairing a textured specialty paper sleeve with metallic silver printing inspired by traditional brewing instruments.
