Utopia: Retrofuturistic Illustrations by Orkhan Isayev
Published Feb 6, 2023
Utopia is a unique project created by Azerbaijani artist Orkhan Isayev, who combines his love of art deco, cyberpunk and illustration to create retrofuturistic visions of cities from all over the world.
The illustrations focus on giving a sense of scale to each city, with tall buildings towering in the background and scenes of everyday life captured in the foreground. By highlighting both old and new architecture as well as unique features such as parks or landmarks, Isayev creates an image that brings together different aspects from each metropolis into one beautiful artwork.
