Toylike 3D Characters by Marko Vuckovic

New York-based artist and designer Marko Vuckovic has a knack for turning ordinary objects and animals into lovable characters bursting with personality. His colorful little worlds are populated by quirky creatures with oversized eyes, expressive faces and a sly sense of humor.

His delightful cast includes a worm dressed as an adventurous explorer carrying a camera and backpack, a wide-eyed acorn holding a balloon, a tearful slice of watermelon and a cheerful cooking pot. Each scene tells its own story, with clever accessories, exaggerated expressions and amusing details revealing something about the characters’ personalities.

Soft lighting, tactile textures and vibrant colors give Marko’s digital creations a charming, toy-like quality. For Marko, it’s all about bringing ordinary things to life and, hopefully, making people smile. The same thinking runs through his commercial work, where he develops brand mascots and stylized interiors.
