This Wrapping Paper Turns Anything Into a Loaf of Bread
Published Aug 5, 2025
Japanese designer Tsujio Ippei has cooked up something delightfully unexpected with Bakermee, a playful wrapping paper set that transforms any gift into what looks like freshly baked bread.
The sets include three A2-sized sheets printed with realistic bread textures, from crusty baguette swirls to fluffy brioche grids. The coarse-textured paper mimics the tactile feel of baked goods, making the illusion even more convincing. To top it off, you also get fun extras like butter, jam and herb stickers so you can garnish your “loaf” however you like.
Large enough to wrap books, boxes or even craft envelopes, Bakermee is a quirky alternative to traditional wrapping paper.
