The Ocean’s Pulse: Stunning Photos by Fran Rodriguez

Published Sep 24, 2025

Sometimes, the most exciting discoveries come when you least expect them. We first came across the work of Canary Islands–based photographer Fran Rodriguez when he interacted with one of our Instagram posts about Ray Collins’ breathtaking wave photography. It felt like a fitting introduction, as Fran captures the ocean’s wild beauty in a similar way, but with his own distinct voice.

Fran’s photography captures waves as living sculptures of light and water. From glowing tunnels of turquoise to molten reflections of gold at sunset, his shots transform fleeting moments into cinematic portraits of the ocean’s power. In other frames, he dives below the surface, finding poetry even in a single suspended bubble.

Though there’s little information about him online, Fran’s photography speaks for itself: a celebration of raw power, fleeting beauty, and the constant transformation of the sea. You can discover more of his mesmerizing ocean work on Instagram.
