The Fantastic Side of Fruit: A Playful CGI Journey by Altera
Published Jun 20, 2025
Creative studio Altera is bringing a delicious dose of surrealism to the fruit bowl with The Fantastic Side of Fruit, a bold series of 3D illustrations and motion graphics created for Tutti Frutti Colombia.
In this imaginative series, fruit is anything but ordinary. Oranges stretch and morph, watermelons drift weightlessly, and bananas bend and ripple with hypnotic flow. Every piece seems to defy gravity, structure and logic, inviting viewers into a world where the rules of physics are playfully rewritten.
More than just eye candy, the project is a joyful tribute to the colors, forms and textures of nature’s sweetest creations. It’s an energetic, sensory celebration of fruit’s playful side, seen through Altera’s uniquely vibrant lens. You can see more of their work on Behance and Instagram.
