The Captivating Paper Art of Helen Musselwhite
Published May 20, 2025
Helen Musselwhite’s work proves just how far paper can go as a creative medium. Based in the Northwest of England, Helen didn’t start her creative journey with paper in mind. She first trained in graphic design and illustration, dabbled in jewelry and painting, and eventually found her way to the world of paper art, where she’s been creating ever since.
Her pieces are a careful blend of precision and imagination, often drawing inspiration from the British countryside. Living near Manchester, where city edges blur into open fields, she pulls ideas from the landscapes around her, translating them into layered scenes filled with plants, wildlife and a quiet storybook charm.
