The Blastercaster: Sci-Fi Guitar Concept by Allan Williams
Published Aug 31, 2020
British designer Alan Williams created this cool concept for a retrofuturistic electric guitar.
“Since learning to play guitar it has always been an ambition to have my very own custom model. Sadly, becoming a rock god hasn’t materialised (yet), so I decided to at least design the guitar I myself would want to play, based purely on aesthetics.
Part weapon, all guitar, hence ‘Blastercaster’, (or Infinite Frequency Manipulator) is inspired by retro future sci-fi and a desire to see something other than the usual Strat shapes. The guitar would be made entirely of metal, except for the fretboard (which would be made from rosewood). Built to scale in Fusion 360 it can potentially be 3D printed at some stage in the future. Rendered with Redshift.”
