LA-based filmmaker, screenwriter and photographer Lada Egorova finds beauty in the mundane through her candid captures of everyday life.
Focusing on street photography and portraiture, she finds magic in moments most of us overlook. Her photographs show the tenderness and joy hidden away within simple encounters – from a teenager riding a skateboard to two strangers exchanging glances on the sidewalk. It is these intimate scenes that make her work so captivating. In her own words:
“I love capturing moments, writing stories and mixing words with visuals.”
“I’m still experimenting with my style but I love capturing strangers and moments that we would never have seen if we didn’t take the time to stop and observe the world around us.”
Not only does Egorova’s work encourage viewers to appreciate the little things, but it also highlights our shared humanity through documenting our daily lives.
