Spectral Matrix: Multi-Layered Paper Art by Zubin Jhaveri
Published Nov 2, 2022
‘Spectral Matrix’ is a collection of intricate layered paper creations by Indian artist Zubin Jhaveri.
“Spectral Matrix is a series of nine vivid paper cut artworks that decipher complex geometry through selective use of the color spectrum. Different color palettes and how they are used at various levels of the structure unveil mesmerizing patterns.
The play of light & shadow orchestrates dramatic outcomes, turning chaos into beautiful prismatic arenas. The titles of the artworks are evident of what this union of geometry and colors reveal. These artworks are in many ways symbolic to the frenzied matrix of life.
They showcase how a different perspective helps make sense of it and see the beauty in it. Each artwork has 22 to 30 layers of paper-cuts and has the dimension of 6″ x 6″.”
