Shang Lin Yuan Tea Packaging by Pica Lab

Beijing-based studio Pica Packaging Design Lab created this sophisticated packaging set for luxury tea brand Shang Lin Yuan. The name was inspired by the renowned royal garden from the Han Dinasty ‘Shanglinyuan Garden’.
“By using an international visual language, Pica Lab tells a story about local conditions and customs from a western point of view. The scenes include looking for the proper tea species, inquiring to the highest quality, and anecdotes around the tea making process. Consumers can feel the warmth of the brand directly through these images.”
