Semblance: Drawing Series by HelloVon
Published Oct 16, 2012
Beautiful series of drawings by London-based artist Von, aka HelloVon.
“Born out the artist’s fascination with the relationship between distortion and realism, deconstruction and composition and the physical process of drawing itself the Semblance series was first exhibited at Shepard Fairey’s Subliminal Projects Gallery (L.A) in 2009. Since then pieces from the ongoing series have appeared in numerous publications world wide, been exhibited in the artist’s 2009 solo show “Semblance” (L.A), group exhibitions in London and produced a sell out screen print release. Now for the first time five images from the series have been made available as a collector’s box set, handmade in the UK in an edition of 50.”
