Saint Ange Residence by Studio Odile Decq
Published Mar 29, 2022
French architecture Studio Odile Decq designed this gallery-style residence made entirely out of wood, overseeing the city of Grenoble.
“Black asphalt in colour, its tower creeps up from the treetops, standing out amongst its neighbours.
Contrasting the exterior is a natural, homey interior wood finish. During the day, light pours into the multiple openings on the façade, illuminating the living space. Once the sun sets, black asphalt blinds disguise the windows, letting a mysteriously somber form transpire.”
