Retro-Psychedelic Restaurant Branding for Pink Tiger by Estudio Albino
Published Apr 20, 2026
Estudio Albino, a Mexican design studio, developed this vibrant brand identity for Pink Tiger, a Washington, D.C. restaurant dishing out Southeast Asian flavors and late-night energy.
The brief asked for more than a logo. It called for a mythology. Estudio Albino answered by fusing two distinct sides of 70s visual culture: the chic glamour of disco and the loose, hallucinatory energy of psychedelia. Neither cancels the other out. They pull in opposite directions, and that tension is exactly what gives the identity its charge.
At the center, a hand-lettered logotype pairs with an illustrated pink tigress, rendered in expressive brushwork. That bold mark sits comfortably alongside kaleidoscopic radial patterns and gold foil finishes. Across menus, coasters, takeout boxes and printed collateral, the system holds together, with every touchpoint reinforcing a space that feels social, layered and slightly theatrical.
