Reflective City: Photo Series by Omi Kim
Published May 18, 2023
Japanese photographer Omi Kim has created an astounding series of photographs that capture the rainy nights of Osaka in a cyberpunk-inspired style. The series, aptly named “Reflective City,” showcases the beauty of the city’s neon lights and wet streets in an ethereal way.
Kim’s urban exploration photography seeks to capture the unique atmosphere of cities, particularly at night. His photos are full of intrigue and energy, with bright city lights and reflections on wet surfaces creating an almost dreamlike quality.
The reflective surfaces of roads, buildings, and other objects create interesting patterns in Kim’s photos that draw viewers into his images. You can find even more inspiring night photography on Kim’s Behance portfolio, or his website.
